Bachelor’s degree thesis

Features mining from audio signals.

I’ve worked on this thesis during the last few months of my Bachelor’s degree course in Computer Engineering and it’s meant as a laboratory work.

The main topic is about the implementation of a system which receives in input one or more audio files (mp3 format) and makes the frequency analysis (Fourier analysis). I focused all efforts in extracting specific information of that signals, e.g. rhythm and amplitude. Eventually, I suggested the possible scopes of my works.

The programming language I adopted was C++ and I based the development on some open source projects (libraries, SDK, etc.) to accomplish the thesis (see the documents below for further information).
